Such a great local place to grab a bite with friends. The food is always great & the staff is always friendly. I frequently point out of towners in The Goats direction when I'm at work.
This was an okay place to eat. We were passing through town and decided to give it a try. It was average on all accounts...service, food, and atmosphere. Our food order ended up being four sandwiches, one beer, and an order of sweet potato fries. Our check with tip ended up being around $60. Definitely not worth that amount of money.
Amazing food and lots of it! Excellent pub food, with specials every day. Our waitress was very accommodating...we ate a brilliant meal there, and she had sandwiches packed for the road with the "soggy" ingredients wrapped separately so they would be good when we stopped for the night. We noticed a lot of locals who knew what they wanted when they came in, but this place is worth a detour if you are on the road.
Higher end bar food. The menu has a lot of options from salad to sandwiches to a variety of burgers. There are also some tasty appetizers on the menu. Being a bar, there are plenty of alcoholic beverages to choose from. They also have good fresh brewed tea is your want to keep things a little more subdued. The wait staff was very friendly and kept everyone's glass full. The hostess was also very kind. The food came out quick. My only complaint might be the soggy fries I received. Another person in our party ordered fries also and his were hot and fresh. Worth a stop.
We had to wait for a table on a Monday night due to all of the people stopping on their way home from the eclipse but it was a quick wait. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was OK. We had the fried smoked gouda for an appetizer which was very tasty. Great beer selection. I recommend giving Gabby Goat a try.
