Effingham office crew are always helpful and courteous. Should offer free air freshener for cars that have been smoked in. Last one I had was pretty bad. Had to make a pit stop right away to buy some little trees.

Great experience working with the Effingham branch. The representative that we worked with was polite and friendly. No pushing of any additional services or offerings like many rental companies, this made the experience very pleasant. They were brought up, but after I said no, they were fine with it.

My only bit of criticism is that the vehicle we rented was on empty when we picked it up. The representative asked if we wanted to leave it like this or if he should fill it up. I was kind of shocked it was on empty, every other place requires the vehicle to be filled up. He said he'd make a note of the empty level on our account, but this was after the contract had been signed... the one that says if it's not filled up upon return we'll be charged additional for the gas to fill it up. Of course I told him I'd like it filled up. He was happy to do so, but when he returned, it still wasn't full! It was just shy. I don't know if they have a limit on their card, but this was kind of unfortunate.
Other than a long wait to get my vehicle due to the large number of people that particular day the service was fine and I received a vehicle while mine was being repaired. It was clean and drove well.
