Ordered, and paid in full, a non-custom, standard counter top (product # SC011-O) on 9/3/17. As of 10/30/2017, I still do not have the product for which I paid. Incorrect product has been sent/received twice. Manufacturer is very unhelpful and unapologetic for this issue - offering no reciprocation for time or effort wasted while attempting to rectify this mistake. Nearly impossible to maintain correspondence with customer service representatives as phone calls and voicemails are not returned in any sort of timely, professional fashion. Multiple guarantees and promises have been made by customer service staff, however, they are not honored or upheld.
FYI: On top of the staple issue, the table began to fall apart. The rails separated from each other and the $500 dollar table is a complete loss after only 6 months. We followed the maintenance instructions to a T and this still happened. We tried to claim a warranty and never got the table that we originally ordered. We dealt with Gail Kraft, Customer service. Rudest person ever GAIL KRAFT is. Do not purchase anything from Boos unless you plan to trash it after it falls apart after 6 months. And most definitely do not expect to have your issue or warranty resolved by Ms. GAIL KRAFT, customer service rep.
Factory outlet in Effingham, IL has outstanding pricing on some of the best butcher blocks / cutting boards I've seen. Highly recommended!
John Boos products are very expensive and are supposed to be very nice. I ordered an island with a solid wooden top for nearly $500 bucks. It arrived with 3 heavy duty staples embedded in the wooden top. We called John Boos direct and they refused to return the top and send a new one. What is up with that? They are not going to stand behind their workmanship!!
