I really enjoy going to Menards. I wasn't too happy on this visit. I needed a 1x4 and asked about them cutting it for me. I needed 6 pieces 8ins long and was told it would be $2.00 for each cut!!! $12.00 for the cuts plus the price of the board.. I thought no way... Left with no board.
Love this place. Wish they were in Oklahoma. Beats Lowe's and Home Depot, hands down. Sale's and rebates and better quality wood make this my choice to shop at, just can't much because of my location.
Had to make three different trips to Effingham which was 50 miles away. To exchange damaged building material. employees were very courteous. Menards needs to observe better shipping procedures and handling procedures
It's great when you can go and grab something in store but if you special order something it's a joke when you pick up from the store twice in a row they run around looking for my order because the system says it's there but no one knows where it's at ....very unsatisfied
Love this place! You can find just about anything there. If you can't find it, someone is always there to help.
